By using our services, creating an account, or enrolling in our classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Enrollment and Registration

Eligibility

Our classes are designed for adult learners aged 18 and above. Students under 18 may enroll with written parental or guardian consent.

Class Capacity

Classes have limited capacity (typically 12 students maximum). Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and is subject to availability.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as needed to maintain its accuracy.

Payment Terms

Course Fees

Course fees are as published on our website and are subject to change. All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other payment methods processed securely through Stripe. Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment unless otherwise arranged.

Payment Processing

Payment processing fees may apply and will be clearly disclosed before payment. Your enrollment is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Student Cancellation

• More than 7 days before class start: Full refund minus processing fees
• 7 days or less before class start: 50% refund
• After class has commenced: No refund, but credit may be offered for future classes at our discretion

Our Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, students will receive a full refund or credit toward a future class.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days to the original payment method.

Class Policies

Attendance

Regular attendance is essential for language learning. We do not provide makeup classes for missed sessions, but class materials and updates will be shared when possible.

Behavior and Respect

We maintain a respectful, inclusive learning environment. Students are expected to:

• Show respect for instructors, fellow students, and Māori culture
• Participate constructively in class activities
• Arrive on time and come prepared
• Follow health and safety guidelines at our venues

Dismissal

We reserve the right to remove students who consistently disrupt the learning environment, show disrespect to others, or violate these terms. No refund will be provided in such cases.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to lesson plans, handouts, recordings, and teaching methods, are the intellectual property of Te Reo Maioha Inc or licensed from third parties.

Students may use course materials for personal learning purposes only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of our materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.

Health and Safety

Students with health conditions that may affect their participation should inform us during enrollment. We will make reasonable accommodations where possible.

Students attend classes at their own risk. We recommend informing us of emergency contact information and any relevant medical conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Te Reo Maioha Inc, its directors, employees, and instructors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Your use of our website or services
• Class cancellations or schedule changes
• Loss of data or learning progress
• Injuries occurring at class venues
• Any other matter relating to our services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific class or service.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms
